SB 318 Senate Hearing - March 6, 2019

Board members of Parental Equality Network provide testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee in support of Senate Bill 318, relating to parenting time in family law proceedings. The bill creates rebuttable presumption that equal parenting time is in best interests of child. Due to the large number of attendees, each individual was allocated only 2 minutes of speaking time. Additional written testimony was submitted online by constituents for or against the bill. The Senate Judiciary Committee extended the submission date on written testimony to March 7, 2019 at 5:00 pm due to the limited amount of time provided for in-person testimony.
